Rowan rebrand project
Rowan is a Cambridge based arts centre and forest school for adults with learning disabilities. They focus on provinding their community with creative learning workshops in printmaking, woodcarving, textile, ceramics, music and mixed media. The arts centre wanted to update their outdated graphic identity and the visuals you can see here and on the next few pages convey how I envisioned the arts centre looking like after a rebrand.

the brief and concept
Here you can see the logo that Rowan has had for ages. Their representatives made it clear in the brief that they are looking for a more contemporary design that would exude a more mature feeling while still staying true to their roots. I built my concept on the idea that everyone deserves to be listened to and taken seriously no matter their disability. I was inspired by classic logos of universities and educational institutions.
